AmeriDream has a long history of helping first-time, and low and moderate income individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. In many cases, these families move into new homes and new communities across America.

As builders and developers, we invite you to join our mission to help qualified homebuyers find affordable housing solutions. AmeriDream’s Down Payment Gift program provides up to 10% in gift funds for down payment and closing costs to qualified homebuyers.

There are three words that best describe AmeriDream – Responsible, Responsiveness, and Reliable.

  • Responsible - At AmeriDream, we believe everyone deserves an opportunity to live in safe, decent, and affordable housing. Our goal is to expand affordable housing opportunities and increase homeownership for everyone in need of assistance. We help first-time homebuyers, and individuals and families who have low and moderate incomes who qualify for a home mortgage loan but lack the funds they need for down payment and closing costs.

    We also know that an educated homebuyer usually results in a successful homeownership experience. Our free online Homebuyer Education Course is a resource that gives homebuyers the tools to understand what it means to purchase, own, and keep their home. With more knowledge about homeownership, traditionally underserved homebuyers will better understand their rights and responsibilities, take advantage of their opportunity to accumulate wealth, and help build stronger communities.

  • Responsiveness - We respond to the needs and requests of homebuyers and members of the housing industry with timeliness and reliability. The knowledgeable staff in our Gift Administration Office is committed to our mission of helping first-time homebuyers, and individuals and families who have low and moderate incomes who qualify for a home mortgage loan but lack the funds they need for down payment and closing costs. We provide information and support before, during, and after a purchase. At AmeriDream, our goal is provide a consistent delivery of superior service that involves people, technology, and processes.

  • Reliable - Since 1999, AmeriDream has helped over 200,000 individuals and families become homeowners; helping people who otherwise would not achieve their dream of homeownership. We are committed to efforts that support affordable housing solutions for first-time, and low and moderate income homebuyers.

Funds for our gift assistance program come from AmeriDream’s Home Fund, a fund established specifically for down payment assistance. Our goal is to help provide an affordable solution for low and moderate income individuals and families who qualify for mortgage loans but lack the funds they need for down payment and closing costs.
